WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

  • We use the information you provide us when you contact us in relation to enquiries, orders, comments or complaints made by you for conducting business with you and for our legitimate interest of communicating with you about our products and services.
  • If you are one of our customers, suppliers or prospects, we use your information to establish and fulfil our contract with you. This may include verifying your identity, communicating with you and arranging the provision of products and services. We also use your information for our legitimate interests of documenting and managing our internal administration.

WHEN DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES?

We engage other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include processing credit card payments (such as Stripe, Inc. (stripe.com)), providing marketing assistance (salesforce.com; outreach.io), providing customer services, sending postal mail and e-mail to you (mailchimp.com; marketo.com), removing repetitive information from customer lists, and analyzing data. These persons have access to personal information needed to perform their functions. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information that you provide to NS8 for any secondary purposes.

Please note that our headquarters and some partners and service providers are located outside of the European Economic Area. For the transfer of personal data from the EEA to service providers and third parties outside of the EEA that are not subject to an adequacy decision (read more here) from the EC we may apply the EU approved model clauses (read more here). In addition, some of the service providers in the United States are Privacy Shield certified (read more here). HOW LONG DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?

We retain information about you only for as long as need it for the purposes for which it was collected.

Insofar the Data contains or qualifies as personal data, such personal data is only kept for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Data Protection Policy and for our legitimate business purposes, after which it is scrubbed, anonymized or obfuscated as soon as possible unless otherwise required by applicable legislation. This typically happens within 1 year after initial collection of such personal data for the Company's "Protect" offerings. Historical data (utilized for the Company's TrueStats offering) will typically lose value after 2 years and will be reconsidered and purged where needed.

For example, if you are a customer or supplier of NS8, NS8 will keep your information for the duration of the contractual relationship you or your company has with us and after the end of that relationship for as long as necessary to perform the purposes set out above or to comply with legal obligations such as tax obligations. Information we collect as a result of you subscribing to our newsletter or press releases will be stored until you decide to withdraw your subscription.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place technical and organisational measures to safeguard and secure the information we process from you.

WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?

You are entitled to ask NS8 for an overview of the information we have about you and also to correct or delete certain data, restrict processing of your data, or to ask NS8 to transfer some of this information to other organisations.
