Order log v2.0

We received a lot of requests for an order from NS8 v1.0 users. Order logs help provide an audit trail to verify the actions that have been taken and determine if each step is being performed correctly when an order is processed.

This is especially important if you are using multiple third-party systems or more complex order rules to manage your order workflow. Sometimes orders would have several steps between the checkout and fulfillment that need to be tracked carefully.

Changes

  • Added

    • An order log tab so you can see when any of the following actions were taken:

      • NS8 Risk or NS8 Status changed

      • Customer verification request sent and the results

      • Order approved or canceled.

    • The order log shows the actions that have been taken and who started each step: ecommerce platform (like Shopify), NS8, order rules, merchant, or customer.
